From data room to a signed-off register
Lumen reads every document in a project’s data room, checks it against codified engineering, commercial and legal rules, and gives you one register of every finding, each linked to its evidence.
How a review runs
-
Share the data room
Upload the project pack as it is: designs, surveys, datasheets, grid offers, leases and contracts. A typical pack is around 100 documents.
-
Every document is read
Each file is read start to finish, nothing sampled. On average, 2,000+ variables per project go into one structured project record, each cited to its source and cross-checked against the rest.
-
Codified checks run
The checks are written by engineers who have diligenced these assets. They run as versioned rules, the same way on every project, rather than as prompts to a general AI model. Each project adds to them.
-
Work through the register
Every risk, assumption, issue and discrepancy lands in one shared register with its severity, evidence and history. Your team acknowledges, comments on and resolves each item in one place, with a full audit trail.
-
Sign off when the deal needs it
A PI-backed engineer sign-off is available for projects where the funder needs a formal opinion.
Every finding shows its working
Each register item names the documents it came from. Where two documents disagree, Lumen records the conflict instead of picking one.
Anyone reviewing the project can see what was raised, what evidence backs it, and who resolved it and how.
What’s covered today
Lumen is built for distributed energy projects, the ones too small to carry the cost of a manual review. We add new asset types as their rule packs are written and tested.
| Asset type | Status |
|---|---|
| Solar PV | Live |
| Battery storage | Next |
| Wind | Planned |
| Live in the UK, with Europe in testing. | |
